Will Nation, Professional Runner

Will Nation is currently training in Austin, TX under the guidance of his former college coach, John Hayes. A preferred walk-on at the University of Texas, Will saw immediate results his freshman year including a 4th place finish in the 10,000m at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships. Will went on to become a two-time All-Big 12 performer in the 5000m and earned All-Regional honors in cross country his senior year.

In his brief time running post-collegiately, Will won his first ever road race at the 2015 3M Half Marathon in Austin. Will followed up that effort with a 10th place finish at the Garry Bjorkland Half Marathon in Duluth, MN where he earned his Olympic Trials qualifying time for the marathon. After the 2016 Olympic Trials, Will has aspirations of returning to the track in hopes of qualifying for the USATF Outdoor Championships in the 10,000m.

Will currently works full-time as a software developer for Pruvan, Inc. in Round Rock and serves as a brand ambassador for Oatmega Bar.
